Nancie Boland, Webmaster/Facebook - Nancie and her husband Bruce do not exactly live at the lake
but it’s where she spends most of her time.  After  moving to Missouri more than 14 years ago and with
no neighbors for a mile, she joined N/L so that she would meet people with common interests.  She
served as publicist for 2 years and as webmaster/facebook administrator for the past 6 years in addition
to serving on the home tour committee for the past 5 years and as chair in 2018 & 2019.
Paula Constantini, Membership - After a successful career in the Central Intelligence Agency and too
many Florida hurricanes, Paula and her husband, Stan, moved to Lake of the Ozarks and immediately
found Newcomers.  Wanting to give back to a club that has been so welcoming, Paula first worked with
Book Clubs and has now joined the Board as Membership Chair.  She and Stan enjoy all the social
activities and have made many friends through the club.
Vickie Faulstich, Fund Raising - Vickie, her husband and children moved to the Lake in 1982 to start
their company, Controlled Heating & Cooling.  Vickie is proud to say that after all of these years of
watching and seeing what wonderful things N/L does for the community, she is happy to have served
as President, Past President and Scholarship Chair for this great organization.
Martha Black Morrow, Special Activities - Martha and her husband, Tom, moved from Johnston,
Iowa to the lake full time in 2015.  They had a condo at Lands End for 5 years in which they frequented
often as part-timers.  Martha worked for Rain and Hail Insurance (crop, property and casualty and
some equine) for 25 years always in Human Resources.  Her last position held was Assistant Vice
President of Human Resources.  Prior to Rain and Hail she worked at a bank for 9 years.  She retired
early in 2015 to the lake to enjoy “the good life”.  Meeting new people was a challenge but she has made
many friends thru N/L.  Martha and Tom enjoy giving back to those less fortunate by giving to local
charities in Missouri which is one of the many reasons she joined this group in 2017.
Kathy Reed, Publicist - Kathy is originally from Wisconsin, but has lived in many places around the
country, most recently Oregon.  Kathy and her husband Pat moved to the lake almost a year ago when
her husband retired so they could live on a lovely lake and be closer to their children and other family
members who live in the Midwest.  Living at the lake means hosting family and friends who are
interested in some 'lake time' giving Kathy the opportunity to practice her culinary skills as well as both
play and relax.  Kathy and Pat not only have 2 beautiful dogs of their own that give her a good workout
walking the lake neighborhoods but she also volunteers at the Dogwood animal shelter enriching the
lives of those dogs as well.
Carole Olivarri, Parlimentarian - Carole moved here from St. Louis, where she lived her whole life,
after retiring from AT&T at an extremely young age.  She had her husband John, I have two children,
10 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters.

When Carole was invited to a N/L luncheon over 20 years ago, hes had no idea how this group of
women would enrich my life or that she would become President, 2nd Vice President, Treasurer,
Dining Out Chair, Hospitality Chair, Community Awareness Chair, Co-Chair three times of the Home
Tour Committee, and Scholarship Chair.
Julie Lane VanMeter, Dining Out - Julie is a semi-retired condo accounting manager.  Julie and her
husband Chris moved from Wisconsin in March 2017.  Never having been to the Lake of the Ozarks
area before they picked some properties to view and found the one they loved on one of the interior
lakes nearby.  She enjoys reading, swimming, NFL football (go Packers!) and college basketball (go
Marquette!). Julie joined Newcomers/Longtimers at the kickoff in 2017.
Karen Robinson, Newsletter Editor - Karen is a St. Louis native.  .  She and her husband Neil are
both retired military (he Royal Air Force, she U.S. Navy) and former defense industry program
managers.  In 2007, they "went crazy," quit their jobs in Texas, and bought Kapilana resort here at the
lake, which they ran for ten years.  The change of pace also allowed them to pursue their passion for
travel, inspiring Karen to start her own agency, which she still runs.  Their favorite place of all is
England, where they spend as much time as possible with their children and grandkids. When not there,
they can be found bopping around in their fifth wheel or pursuing their hobbies.  Karen is an avid
crafter (mostly needlework) and Neil flies RC aircraft. After selling the resort, they could have chosen
to live anywhere but decided to stay at the lake because of all the wonderful friends they made through
N/L.   This is Karen’s second tour as the newsletter editor.
Carol Browne, Treasurer - Carol lived in and around Omaha, Ne. until 2004 when she and her
husband moved here to escape the "big" city life.

They had owned a local tavern for 20 years and were ready for a change.  After her husband passed
away in 2009, Carol decided to stay and pursue a career in real estate which is what she is still doing
today.  Carol decided to join N.L. because she needed find a social life again and has enjoyed the
cards, dinners, plays and other activities the club has to offer.  Although she now lives in Missouri,
she is a die hard "Husker" fan and tries to get back to as many home games as she can.
